VELOCITY 84 BOA Inline Skate
The Velocity 84 Boa® is the perfect skate for active skaters who are looking for the right skate for beginners and a multi-function outdoor fitness tool. The original K2 Softboot comfortably and securely cradles the boot and the Stability Plus Cuff provides extra stability, flexibility and comfort. The Boa® closure system allows the skates to be adjusted to the foot with just one twist and it can conveniently even be operated while riding. In addition to the quick lacing, a Velcro closure over the instep and a ratchet closure on the upper shaft provide further stability. The aluminum frame transfers very efficiently to the 84mm wheels including high-quality ball bearings. The design with 4x84mm wheels provides maximum stability and control with good maneuverability - the perfect characteristics for recreational skating and driving fun. A brake is included. The Velocity 84 Boa® for men meets excellent fitness requirements and offers a lot of fun. With the ABEC-5 ball bearing, the 84 mm wheels and the (removable) brake, the inline skates become a true fitness machine that can also convince with its sporty design. Just like the motto: Ready to Roll!

BOA

The BOA lacing system is particularly easy and quick to use. A cord made of steel or nylon is tightened with a rotary system using a mechanical winch, so that the skate is fixed. The result is an even lacing over the entire foot, ensuring a secure hold. The Boa lacing is robust and long lasting. Probably the most practical thing about it: with the help of the Boa system, the shoe can be easily retightened even while driving.

4 Wheel 

4-Wheel tracks have, like the name suggests, four wheels. The normal 4-wheel inline skates are much safer and easier to control, which is why they are particularly suitable for beginners as well as fitness and hobby skaters. However, advanced skaters can reach high speeds even on 4 wheels, for example, by choosing larger wheels and therefore experience great driving fun. The Maximum size of the rollers is noted on the skate rail.

ABEC 5

The classification ABEC stands for Annular Bearing Engineers Committee and classifies how fine the rolling bodies (the beads in the bearings) are worked out. The higher the ABEC level, the more precise the production and the better the rollers run. ABEC 5 is characterized by relative smoothness and easy rotation of the wheels. Thus, the power can be transferred efficiently when driving. However, it should be noted that the smooth running of a ball bearing is also influenced by other factors - such as the materials used for the various components of a bearing, as well as by the choice of lubricant.
