Take your foiling to the next level with the Foil Assist Set AL—a plug-and-play system that gives you an extra boost exactly when you need it.

The Foil Assist Set AL includes the following components:
- eMast AL Set: Crafted from lightweight aluminum and measuring 84 cm in length, the eMast AL is extremely stiff, providing a direct riding feel.
To minimize drag, the motor pod is fully integrated into the mast, positioned slightly behind the leading edge and 17 cm below the top plate. It features a two-blade folding propeller that reduces drag to a minimum when gliding on the wave. Thanks to the integrated gear system, the propeller deploys instantly, ensuring a smooth transition when you exit the wave and accelerate again.

The eMast mounts to your board just like a standard foil mast.

Note: You need a fuselage adapter to mount the fuselage. In addition to the Duotone adapter, we offer ten other options to combine the Foil Assist with your existing foil setup. The adapter is not included in the set and must be purchased separately.

Tip: For optimal battery performance, pair the eMast with a front wing of at least 900 cm² and a board with a minimum volume of 35 L.

- eHarness Set: Power for the Foil Assist comes from two compact batteries housed in a waterproof box on a lightweight eHarness (approx. 3.76 kg). This keeps your board free from extra weight and drag. Placing the batteries at your hips preserves the natural, fluid foiling sensation while allowing for full freedom of movement. The eHarness is buoyant and easily detachable. A cable runs neatly along the shorter board leash, connecting the batteries to the eMast. The receiver integrated into the battery box ensures a stable and reliable connection between the remote control and the motor throughout your entire session.
- Watch/Finger-Ring Remote: The Foil Assist remote—a waterproof smartwatch-style controller with a finger ring—keeps your hands free, making it significantly easier to stand up, paddle, duck-dive, carve, or hold the wing. Activate the motor with a double-click of the "+" button and control the speed by pressing and holding the "+" or "-" button.
- Battery Charger: The charger can fully charge both batteries in less than an hour and also features a discharge function that helps extend the batteries' long-term lifespan.
- Air-Travel-Friendly Battery Set: Depending on your skill level, setup, and conditions, the Foil Assist batteries provide 30 to 60 minutes of runtime per charge.

FOILBOARD:
The Midfish board was specifically developed for foil assist systems and performs exceptionally well across all foil disciplines—including prone, downwind, wing foiling, and flatwater e-foiling.

Its mid-length shape and narrow outline are designed for powerful carves with total control. Thanks to its sleek design, the board offers a direct connection to the foil and a highly responsive ride. The low rocker profile increases the planing surface, providing extra stability while riding and making it easier to lift onto the foil.

The full-carbon construction, featuring PVC reinforcement in the standing area, makes the Midfish both stiff and durable, yet pleasantly lightweight. This rigidity ensures optimal foil control—perfect for executing precise maneuvers.

The fish tail design not only enhances stability and provides extra drive during takeoff but also keeps cables and leashes securely in place and out of the way while foiling. The wider tail shape also accommodates a staggered foot stance.

Positioning the foil box slightly further forward gives the board a shorter, more agile feel, making tight turns and quick direction changes effortless.

Optimized volume distribution and a recessed front-foot deck improve balance and ensure perfect pressure distribution between the front and back feet—ideal for smooth, controlled touchdowns. The V-shaped bottom contour enhances comfort upon landing, facilitates efficient takeoffs, and reduces energy consumption.

The two larger Midfish models (58 L and 78 L) feature inserts that allow for both straight and V-shaped front footstrap configurations.
