The OAKLEY MOD5 MIPS Helmet was redesigned from the ground up for demanding days on the mountain, combining bold design, advanced helmet technology, precise fit and functional ventilation. Developed with input from experienced big mountain athletes, the OAKLEY ski helmet is designed for skiers and snowboarders who want comfort, adjustability and a durable construction for a wide range of winter sports conditions.

The advanced hybrid construction combines a durable Dura Matter hard shell with lightweight polycarbonate and an EPS foam liner. This strategic material combination creates a balanced construction designed to deliver durability while keeping weight under control. The distinctive outer shape gives the OAKLEY MOD5 MIPS a modern and functional appearance.

The Skull Matrix system combines MIPS and BOA technology into one integrated fit system. The internal retention system is designed to wrap around the head in multiple directions, helping create a secure and comfortable fit. The BOA 360 Fit System allows the wearer to fine tune the ski helmet using an adjustable dial for a precise and personalized fit.

The integrated MIPS Safety System is designed to reduce rotational forces that can occur during angled impacts to the head. This makes the OAKLEY MOD5 MIPS a strong choice for skiers and snowboarders looking for a helmet that combines adaptive fit technology with an integrated rotational protection system.

Multiple ventilation zones allow airflow to be customized to help regulate temperature throughout the day. This airflow management can help reduce goggle fogging and overheating during active riding. The three dimensionally shaped Polartec Power Grid lining is moisture wicking, removable and washable and is designed to follow the contours of the rider’s head.

The FIDLOCK magnetic chin buckle allows the helmet to be fastened quickly and easily, even while wearing gloves. A helmet travel bag and Oakley decal are included.
