MEGALIGHT Snowboard
Born out of our roots in the Swiss Alps, the Megalight is a featherweight freeride model capable of drawing fluid lines down the most technical of descents. Camber between the bindings, a mid-stiff flex and triax glassing deliver precise edge control and a ton of snap, while the extended rocker at the nose helps you drive hard out of those deep landings. The Megalight dampens vibrations at the tip and tail through a construction we call Freeflex 3.0, and features a 3DN core that shaves even more weight from targeted areas. It’s an agile samurai sword that’s supremely easy to handle through tight chutes, critical faces and legit drops. Size up for even more float.

Features:
- Construction - N-tech 2.0: N-TECH 2.0 is a major evolution of our already futuristic N-TECH construction process. The main feature is a 3D cap that increases the effect of the 3D torsion construction between the feet and when combined with our Freeflex 3.0 technology in the nose and tail also produces state-of-the-art flex and stress distribution patterns that are unique in snowboard manufacturing.
- Exclusive Tech - 3DNConcept: Our 3D N-Concept takes snowboard construction to the next level. A unique core outline between the inserts allows the board to flex differently under each foot, delivering the ultimate feeling of control and a 3-dimensional riding experience you won't find anywhere else.
- Exclusive Tech - Freeflex 3.0: By reducing the wood and fiberglass in the nose and tail, but reinforcing them with lighter, stronger materials, our unique Freeflex 3.0 technology allows us to significantly decrease board weight, while simultaneously increasing strength, durability and pop. It also dampens vibrations and provides an extraordinarily light feel when transitioning between turns.
- Top - Absorbnid: Absorbnid is an innovative top layer designed to absorb unwanted vibrations. This allows us to develop responsive, dynamic boards that still give you a smooth and fatigue free ride.
- Inserts - 4/2-6 + 1: With 6 rows of inserts every 2 cm, this insert combination allows you to adjust your stance to the optimum position, and works with all bindings on the market. Our reference stance is the second narrowest position possible. We also added an extra position for deep Pow days.
- Fiberglass - Triax Plus: The result of extensive testing with our riders and engineers, our Triax laminate is oriented at 45° to the board, and contains different glass densities. This provides consistent torsional flex, better pop, and more reactivity on every turn.
- Woodcore - Light Core: Our lightest core - featuring 3 different wood types. The Light Core is a perfect combination of paulownia for lightness, poplar for pop and responsiveness, and hardwood beech stringers along the edges to increase core durability, pop and protection from edge impacts.
- Base - N-9000: Produced with carbon nanoparticles, the N-9000 has a very dense molecular structure, which makes it our fastest, most durable base material.
- Added Fibers - BCK: The ultimate combination of fibers to fit all your needs: Basalt, Carbon, Kevlar® (BCK). Placed from the tail to the rear inserts and from the nose to the front inserts, it makes for a lighter board and provides increased pop, torsional stiffness, and reactivity.

SUPERMATIC Binding
The world’s first self-closing two-strap binding, which works with any snowboard boot. Rider Approved. Last year, everything changed: Supermatic arrived. The world’s first self-closing two-strap binding, which works with any snowboard boot. A simple, snow-proof system, no need to change your boots, and use them like a normal binding if you’re somewhere sketchy or in deep snow. Now, Supermatic has evolved with three new colorways - olive green, white and a refreshed black. There’s also a new XL size, so the benefits of this gamechanger are now available to bigger-footed riders. To set up Supermatic, you adjust the straps to fit your boot and lock them in place with the LSR buckles. With a press of the Release Lever on the side, the heel pedal lifts up, and the hiback and straps open up, allowing you to remove your foot. To get back in, slide your boot in and down, and it closes by itself. It’s an easy, simple and elegant solution for anyone who’s ever thought that the normal way of strapping in could be better.Supermatic has a mid-stiff flex and is a solid performer for any type of all-mountain riding. We’ve tested it on groomers, steep ‘n’ deep freeride lines and in the park with a range of riders, from amateurs to world champions and Olympians, and it works everywhere - truly Rider Approved. Supermatic is built using the most popular parts of the Nidecker line, like the tried-and-tested glass-filled-nylon in the baseplate. The Asym Hadron hiback, custom-tuned for Supermatic, has an integrated forward lean adjuster so you can tweak the response how you like. Supermatic isn’t for everybody, but let’s be honest – you deserve a set of bindings which let you spend more time snowboarding, and less time messing around before you drop in.

ACTIVE-STRAP

Optimise your snowboarding experience with the innovative ACTIVE-STRAP from Nidecker Snowboarding. When the highback is leaned back, the foot strap is actively lifted, making it easy to put on and take off. The straps readjust precisely to your boot tightness with every use, for a perfect hold on every descent.

HEEL PAD

Experience perfect functionality with the HEEL PEDAL from Nidecker. Pressing the heel step automatically closes the highback and strap and locks the system securely. The self-cleaning mechanism minimises snow build-up. Three locking positions ensure additional safety on every descent.

RECLINING HIBACK

With the Reclining Hiback, Nidecker offers the fastest automatic boarding system. The highback folds down completely and creates a large opening to slide comfortably into the boot. Experience effortless entry and exit for an unrivalled snowboarding experience.

HYBRID STRAPS

Nidecker's Hybrid Straps combine the feel of a two-strap system with an efficient ankle-to-toe connection for effortless entry and optimal energy transfer. This technology allows the straps to be worn a little looser without sacrificing performance.

LSR BUCKLES

The Nidecker LSR Buckles offer the ultimate in customisation. The Locking Slap Ratchet closures secure the desired footstrap tightness. Use the automatic mode for a one-time adjustment or use them like traditional buckles for a classic two-strap experience. Perfect versatility for your individual preferences.

RELEASE LEVER

With the Release Lever from Nidecker, releasing the engagement system is child's play. Simply push to unlock the system and effortlessly lift and remove your boat. The release lever is located on the medial side of the baseplate for maximum ergonomic efficiency and protection from external triggers. Simple, safe and practical.

Freeride Snowboards

Freeride snowboards are the perfect boards for touring in untouched deep snow. The backcountry has no limits for you. No matter if you want to shred down the slope and push your board, your bindings and your physique to the limit or if you prefer to slide down comfortably with your family. The focus is on fun, safety for all involved and respect for nature. If you want to take on the much-loved white powder, you need a specially designed board that can be guided smoothly and safely through the thick layers of snow. And that's where the freeride snowboard comes in.

Hard

The flex of a snowboard describes how hard or soft the snowboard is. The right flex depends on your individual ability. Hard snowboards are suitable for professional snowboarders, as they enable freeriding, splitboarding and fast speed on the slopes while offering maximum control and power.

Directional

Directional boards are the classics. They have an asymmetrical shape and usually have different tips and tails in favor of a more generous tip. This improves flotation in deep snow. The longer tip also provides more power for carving. The transfer from you to your board and onto the snow is therefore more direct and significantly more powerful. The sidecut is also designed to provide better forward guidance. A directional board is therefore ideal for all those who like to go off-piste, ride fast, carve and make Vitelli turns their favorite moves.
