The XR8 LW unlocks great performance in light winds and impresses with a high level of riding comfort.  
With its ultra stiff 5-strut-frame in Deltabow shape, you will glide early and achieve rich jumps with decent hang time even in the lower wind range. Its lightweight construction helps you go upwind easily, and its unparalleled flight stability, power, and control let you enjoy every session.
Thanks to the significantly stiffer ExoTex 2 material the kite's entire airframe has been fine-tuned and enables smaller leading edge and strut diameters which increase its upwind abilities. The CoreTex 2 canopy is both highly durable and has an extremely low-stretch. These two features work together to give the canopy unparalleled flight stability, power, and control.

CORETEX 2 TRIPLE RIPSTOP CANOPY
Due to the special fabric structure and the coating, the new Core developed flying canopy has a plus in durability and performance. The improved flight stability, power and control of the XR8 is due to the extremely high tear strength, lower stretch and UV protection of the flying cloth.

HIGH TURNING SPEED
The smaller leading edge and strut diameter make the XR8 more agile and faster than before.

EXO TEX 2 LEADING EDGE
The innovative design offers improved stiffness and durability, even under extreme forces, resulting in more precise and efficient performance. The special coating enables an 80% increase in tear resistance. A more agile turn and a more explosive lift are just two of the differences in the improved material.

EXOTEX LIGHT STRUTS
The lightweight yet robust airframe material consists of five ExoTex Light Struts. These make the XR8 even more lively than all other XR's before.

CORE INTELLIGENT TRIM SYSTEM
Thanks to the CIT, you can modify the XR8 according to your preferences. Change the flying characteristics at the leading edge, the turning pleasure at the tips as well as the steering line tension and the kite feedback at the attachment points.

SHORT BRIDLE SYSTEM
The dynamic flight and turning characteristics of the XR8 are created by the short bridle system, which allows the XR8 to respond quickly to control inputs.
