The OAKLEY MOD7 MIPS Visor Helmet combines helmet and snow goggles into an innovative all in one system for demanding days on and off the piste. Designed for all mountain adventures, this ski helmet with integrated visor creates a seamless connection between head protection and optics. Secure Connect technology magnetically connects the integrated Prizm visor to the helmet while also mechanically securing it in both riding and stowed positions.
The integrated Prizm visor features a dual lens construction powered by Prizm Lens Technology. The lens is designed to enhance contrast and improve clarity, helping riders identify snow contours, surface textures and obstacles more easily in changing mountain conditions. An inner anti fog lens supports clear vision while skiing or snowboarding.
The Lens Seal Adjustment allows the integrated visor to be individually positioned for a comfortable fit around the face. An adjustment button on the side of the helmet allows the visor to move closer to the wearer, helping create a customized seal. Lens Eject Buttons on both sides of the visor allow it to be released from the helmet in both riding and stowed positions.
The Lens Landing Zone on the front and top of the helmet allows the visor to be intuitively stowed against the helmet. Secure Connect keeps the visor connected while it is stored, allowing it to be repositioned quickly when needed.
The hybrid construction of the OAKLEY MOD7 combines durable Dura Matter sections with lightweight polycarbonate and an EPS foam liner. This material combination is designed to balance durability and reduced weight while being strategically applied to selected areas of the helmet.
The Skull Matrix system integrates MIPS and BOA technology into a unified fit system. The internal retention system is designed to wrap around the rider’s head in multiple directions, helping provide a secure and comfortable fit. The BOA 360 Fit System allows the ski helmet to be precisely adjusted using a simple dial.
The MIPS Safety System is designed to help reduce rotational forces caused by angled impacts to the head. Multiple ventilation zones allow airflow to be customized and help regulate temperature while also supporting reduced visor fogging during active riding.
The removable and washable Polartec Power Grid lining is three dimensionally shaped, vented and moisture wicking. Its contoured design follows the shape of the rider’s head and supports comfortable wear throughout long days in the mountains.
The FIDLOCK magnetic chin buckle provides seamless operation and can be fastened easily while wearing gloves. A helmet travel bag and Oakley decal are included.
