Three
innovations in one board: Not just for advanced riders, but also for
beginners, because classic angling is greatly reduced and changing edges
and jumping off are easier.
1.
SUPERSLIDE RAILSYSTEM® (SRS): The weight of the rider continuously
presses down the bow, so that pressure is built up after each edge
change. This pressure is released in a relief that increases the
additional pop of the bow and the board comes off the snow even faster.
The pressure is shifted 10 to 20 cm simultaneously towards the nose and
tail via the toe or heel edge, creating a much better, yet softer edge
grip. This enables the DOUBLEDECK® snowboard to be the world's first
pressure shift of up to 20 CM towards the nose and tail, making it a
carving machine.
2. CONVEX PRESSURE BOW SYSTEM® (CPS): The bow is
mounted on the board with four sliding screws at the back and four
fixing screws at the front. It has to slide so that a certain amount of
evasion is possible in order to push the concave bow through convexly in
the opposite direction. This means that the bow slides back and forth
on the board minimally and imperceptibly with each turn. As soon as the
rider goes from one turn to the other, the bow is relieved and slides
back "as if on rails".
3. INVERSE CONCAVE BENDING SYSTEM® (ICS):
Since the edges grip exceptionally well thanks to the interaction of the
CPS® and SRS®, the board can look forward to intentionally more torsion
along the longitudinal axis. A lot of torsion means a more forgiving
ride, but usually also reduces edge grip. Not so with the DOUBLEDECK®
snowboard! The function of the INVERSE CONCAVE BENDING SYSTEM® (ICS) is
responsible for this. The convexly hollowed-out wooden core enables the
board to torsion with a twisting effect of up to 45 degrees. This means
that it is thinner in the middle and thicker towards the sides. This
twists it along the longitudinal axis (torsion) and enables easier turn
initiation and smoother riding.
