Test SUP:
This SUP is an exhibition item that has been unpacked from the OVP and
tested, but is in very good condition. The riding characteristics are
not restricted.
The balanced riding characteristics and comprehensive equipment have not only made Starboards Touring boards test winners in magazines, but have also given countless SUP fans real #livethetikilife moments. A new nose and square tail shape give the new Touring Inflatable even more stability, even in demanding conditions. In the area where you guide your paddle past the board, the shape is kept straighter, allowing you to maintain an optimal course. Starboard's Touring Inflatables are also equipped with a shoulder strap (not on the Zen design), making it easy to get into the water, even if the route is a little longer.
LET’S GO EXPLORING. WELDED RAIL TECHNOLOGY
Every Starboard inflatable paddle board features welded rails. The Welded Rail Technology creates a complete airtight, mechanically bonded seam without the risk of glue weakening over time. This makes Starboard inflatable paddle boards stronger and longer lasting.
THE OUTLINE SHAPE
The boards have straight outline and relative narrow midsection, so you can keep the paddle closet to the board. This makes you feel more comfortable and stable while you also track better and glide faster.
DELUXE CONSTRUCTION - STIFFER, LIGHTER, MORE RESPONSIVE
- The Fusion Woven dropstitch makes the Deluxe boards extra strong and stiff.
- The Heat Welded rails create a complete airtight, mechanically bonded seam without the risk of glue weakening over time. Making the board stronger and last longer.
- Galvanized 2000D rails increase strength and stiffness.
- The Double Chamber (optional) brings the inflatable boards one step closer to a hard board feeling. The Double Chamber stiffens the board significantly, thanks to the double side walls around the second chamber. This chamber also offers extra safety flotation for any emergencies.

The narrow width is suitable for riders up to 90kg and allows for faster acceleration. It also improves your paddling technique as it is easier to switch the paddle from one side to the other. With a length of 12'6″, the board is easy to manoeuvre, making it a good transition between a touring board and a race board. There is the 6″ thick board with maximum buoyancy and stiffness or the 4.75″ thick board, which has a high level of stiffness and comes in a wave design.
