The K2 Program snowboard binding is a high-performance binding for the advanced-to-expert level snowboarder looking to take care of mother nature, without sacrificing performance. A 50% Glass filled nylon chassis is surrounded with castor-bean based materials, with a goal of reducing the size of a bindings carbon footprint.
By utilizing eco-conscious and recycled materials instead of plastics and EVA, we have made significant strides in sustainability. Our manufacturing process relies on over 40% solar-powered energy, and our packaging is FSC certified, utilizing cardboard and recycled paper instead of plastics.
As a result, we have achieved impressive reductions in our binding footprints its not perfect, but its a click in the right direction:
- DD1 Ankle Strap and BetterWrap Toe Straps have seen a 70% reduction in CO2 emissions per kg when compared to traditional TPU straps.

- MODULE Chassis - Featured on all K2s new bindings, the Module chassis is composed of a fiberglass-infused nylon and minimizes dead board flex zones directly underneath the binding. This allows the rider to feel the flex and response of the entire board length while providing maximum support, security, comfort, and vibration damping.
