2) Offerings and Functions of this Website

This website is an online shop for the sale of goods.

Goods are considered to be physical items.

Goods are presented here that can be added to an electronic shopping cart and then ordered and paid for in a binding manner.

This website features a header and a footer menu.

In the header menu, the goods we sell are listed by category and can be accessed individually from there.

Each item is described on its own detail page with further information on its essential characteristics, the scope of delivery, and the total price. From there, it can be added to the electronic shopping cart.

In addition, the electronic shopping cart can be accessed via the header menu once you have added at least one item. From this shopping cart, the electronic order process can be initiated and completed.

In the footer menu, you will find links to our imprint with our contact information as well as information on the legal basis of our online offering, shipping and payment options, and links to other helpful service pages.

3) Instructions for Using the Offerings and Functions

3.1 Virtual Buttons

This website can be operated via virtual buttons.

3.2 Homepage, Overview, and Detail Pages

On the homepage, you will find a selection of offered products in the central page area. By interacting with a product presentation, you will be taken to the product detail page.

In the header menu, you can navigate between the different product categories.
After selecting a category, you will be directed to an overview page that displays all products in that category.

By interacting with a product presentation on the overview page, you will again be taken to the product detail page.

The product detail pages contain, in addition to all essential information about the product and the total price, possibly a quantity selection element and a shopping cart button.

If available, the desired order quantity can be specified via the quantity selection.

3.3 Electronic Shopping Cart

By clicking the shopping cart button, you add the product (in the selected quantity, if applicable) to the electronic shopping cart.

This electronic shopping cart can be accessed at any time via the header menu.

Here you can first review the added products. Via appropriate buttons, products can be removed or, if applicable, the order quantity can be changed.

3.4 Electronic Order Process

After reviewing, you can complete the electronic ordering process by interacting with the corresponding buttons.

For this purpose, you will first be asked to enter your contact details (at least name, email address, and shipping and/or billing address) using an input form.

Next, you can choose between the available delivery or service options.

Finally, you can select one of the available payment methods, enter the necessary payment data, and complete the order.

The binding placement of the order only occurs when the designated button on the final order page is clicked. It is labeled "Buy", "Buy Now", "Order with Obligation to Pay", or another clear formulation.

Before clicking this order button, you can navigate back to the previous steps at any time using your browser's "Back" button and/or cancel the order process at any time.

If you have chosen to pay with an online payment method, you will be redirected from the final order page to the system of the payment provider to make the payment there.

4) Legal Requirements for Accessibility

This website is considered an online shop and is categorized as a "service in electronic commerce", characterized by the possibility of electronic ordering and payment.

It is subject to special legal requirements regarding accessibility.

In general, this website must provide features and procedures tailored to the needs of people with disabilities and enable usability with digital aids.

The online shop functions of this website must therefore be

  • perceivable
  • operable
  • understandable and
  • robust

in design.

Perceivability means that the information and components of the online shop are presented in a way that they can be perceived easily by all users.

Operability requires that the functions of the online shop can also be used by users with mobility or cognitive impairments.

Understandability requires that the information and functions of the online shop are logically structured, easily recognizable, and unambiguously labeled.

Robustness finally means that the content and functions of the online shop can be used reliably and without restriction, even when users use digital aids.

If products for sale in the online shop are subject to their own accessibility requirements, information on their accessible use must be provided, if available.

5) Available Aids for Accessible Use

This website meets the requirements for accessibility through the following measures:

  • Alt texts for images: Images in the online shop are provided with alternative texts that offer a short description of the image and can be processed by screen readers.
  • Adjustable font size: The font size of the page content can be adjusted through settings to ensure optimal perception for each user.
  • Adjustable color contrast: The color contrast of page elements can be regulated. It can be increased or decreased.
  • Accessible captchas: To ensure that entries originate from humans, so-called “captchas” may be used. These can be operated not only via visual recognition but also through solving simple logic tasks.
  • Operability via mouse and keyboard: The online shop functions can be operated both with a mouse and a keyboard. Using keyboard control keys, the mouse pointer can be moved and activated within the online shop.
  • Browser-independent page display: Content and functions of this website are available in the same layout, orientation, and resolution regardless of the browser used.
  • Cascading Style Sheets (CSS): A programming language is used that separates the visual presentation (layout, color, design) from the content structure. This enables digital aids to use their own visibility schemes to display the page content.
  • Checked correctness of HTML code: All HTML codes are continuously checked for functionality to prevent failures and ensure accessibility by digital aids.
  • Adequate spacing between characters: Characters are displayed with adequate spacing to maintain readability.
  • Compatibility with screen readers: The content of the online shop is compatible with all common screen readers and can be read and processed by them.
  • Responsive design (adaptation to various screen sizes): Content, elements, and functions automatically adapt their dimensions to the size of the used screen.
  • Scalability (visibility when zoomed in): Page elements and content remain high-resolution and readable even when zoomed in.
  • Strong color contrast: A strong contrast between text and background colors is preset to ensure optimal visibility of page elements.
  • Text notifications for unfilled input fields: If mandatory input fields are not filled in, a textual notice is displayed in addition to color marking. This notice clarifies which information is missing.
